My last minute decision to ride in the 2012 Bike Jam 50K Fondo brought satisfying results. It turned out to be a beautiful, sunny day with a large group of riders enjoying the beautiful scenery in Marquette County. My goal was to beat the time I received at BikeFest in 2010, 2:35. While I’m still learning the power of drafting, and wished I had used it to my advantage, I felt strong all day and really enjoyed the tour. There are a total of 9 clips from my ride. Enjoy!

After 30 miles, it was a quick descent to the finish. I broke my 2010 ride record by 20 minutes, finishing in 2:10. I had a great day, a great ride and was glad to meet some new riders.
